Description: 

We are looking for a detail-oriented person to join our team at Woodland Homes as a Junior Estimator.  As a Junior Estimator, you will be responsible for assisting the Lead Estimator in preparing cost estimates for homes, ordering materials and labor, monitoring costs of homes under construction, and helping coworkers identify and resolve issues during the build process.

Key Duties:

Analyze blueprints and specifications to develop budgets for material and labor costs.

Communicate with coworkers, trades, vendors, and inspection departments to resolve issues and facilitate the construction process.

Issue purchase orders and variance purchase orders for materials and labor.

Maintain sales pricing for options.

Participate in production meetings.

Additional duties as necessary.

Requirements:

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.

Work experience is a plus but is not required.
